The seeds of Resistance…Our Roots
To do our part against the slide towards fascism, we spent these last 18 months initiating many events and actions in an effort to hold onto our constitutional rights.
Some of our actions:
♦ organized and carried out our signature march, Freedom Over Fascism,
♦ created a bridge standout
♦ wrote letters to each of the Supreme Court Justices
♦ wrote postcards nationwide encouraging citizens to
register to vote and to get out and vote
♦ continued weekly protests in our community
♦ wear awareness buttons
♦ make phone calls to legislators.
We also have a “Truth Card" campaign, through which we hope to spread further awareness. That might be how you found our website.

We came together shortly after the 2024 presidential election. Several women, retired or current teachers, old and new friends, found ourselves deeply concerned about the direction our country was about to take.
We decided to gather weekly to discuss the latest attacks on our democracy, but also to support each other with comfort and deep listening. Most importantly, our goal is to turn our concern into hope and actions for a better future for our precious country.
